Featured: Gnossienne #1 - Erik Satie

Something dark for the month of October! Satie used this original word for the title. The word seems to come from gnosticism, an ancient religious system from the first and second century A.D. The music is beautiful--perhaps haunting. While written in a minor mode, you'll hear touches of Dorian and other creative scales allowing a very mysterious melodic sound.
