Impressions of Worship
Impressions of Worship is my first book of
solo piano arrangements published by Lillenas
Publishing. This book features a "Windham Hill,"
light jazz approach to standard hymns of the Church. These
solos can be easily used for worship service preludes,
postludes, and offertories, as well as for concerts, recitals,
and personal enjoyment.
They can be used in traditional or blended
worship services. My hope is that these adaptations add some
freshness to these songs and will enable those involved in
contemporary worship to rediscover heritage in the use of
these time-honored expressions of praise, devotion, and
celebration.
